REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: Essential: University degree in medicine or a health related field Skills: 1) Producing results 2) Fostering integration and teamwork 3) Respecting individual and cultural differences 4) Communicating in a credible and effective way 5) Moving forward in a changing environment Functional skills and knowledge: - Excellent knowledge and skills in editing and production aspects of medical papers and books. - Negotiation skills, ability to establish and maintain social working relationships with staff of different cultural backgrounds - Ability to work under pressure - Ability to use relevant word processing tools Other skills: Ability to use stand alone and network-based applications / tools of computer-assisted translation. Experience: Essential: Three years of experience in translating medical-related publications Desirable: Experience in providing language services (translation/revision/editing) and administration of translation services.
