بعد خمسة ملايين تحميل لتطبيقها على نظام آي. أو.أس الخاص بأجهزة أبل، قررت شركة "هاوز" (Houzz) الأميركية التي توصف بأنها "ويكيبيديا التصميم الداخلي والخارجي"، طرح تطبيق خاص بنظام أندرويد الأوسع انتشارا. ويوفر تطبيق "هاوز" خدمة تصفح مئات آلاف الصور لتصاميم داخلية وخارجية لمنازل، إذ تمتلك الخدمة في جعبتها أرشيفا يضم أكثر من 950 ألف صورة عالية الوضوح يمكن تصفحها استنادا إلى الأسلوب أو الغرفة أو الموقع، وحفظها على مدونة افتراضية يسميها التطبيق كتاب الأفكار، في عملية تشبه قص الصور من مجلة تصميم منزلي ولصقها في دفتر خاص. فإذا وجد شخص أنه بحاجة إلى إلهام لإعادة التصميم الداخلي لمنزله، أو رغب في تصميم لمنزل جديد، فيمكنه البحث في الأرشيف الهائل من الصور التي توفرها الخدمة. كما أن التطبيق يقدم فرصة لمصممين ومهندسين معماريين ومقاولين لعرض أفضل أعمالهم عبر تلك الخدمة لإظهار مهاراتهم، ويمكن لمستخدمي الخدمة تقييم تلك الأعمال. بدأت شركة هاوز كموقع إلكتروني أطلقه المؤسسان آدي تاتاراكو وألون كوجين في فبراير/شباط 2009، وبعد نجاح المشروع أطلقا أول إصدار من تطبيقهم الخاص بأجهزة آيباد في أبريل/نيسان 2010، وكانت تلك -حسب موقع تيك كرنتش المختص بأخبار التقنية- الخطوة التالية الذكية للشركة نظرا لانتشار الأجهزة الذكية المتنقلة بشكل متسارع. وبحسب كوجين فإن 40% من مستخدمي الخدمة الآن يستخدمونها عبر أجهزتهم المتنقلة، حيث تم تحميل تطبيقهم على أجهزة آيفون وآيباد أكثر من خمسة ملايين مرة بزيادة مقدارها 400% عن العام الماضي. واستعرض المستخدمون أكثر من 500 ملايين صورة من الخدمة في نوفمبر/تشرين الثاني الماضي وحده. وتتشابه نسخة التطبيق الخاصة بأنظمة أندرويد مع تلك الخاصة بأنظمة آي.أو.أس مع اختلاف بسيط في واجهة العرض. كما أضافت الشركة بعض المزايا الجديدة للخدمة تتضمن منتديات النقاش، والقدرة على إضافة الصور مباشرة من كاميرا الهاتف. وابتداء من الشهر المقبل سيتمكن المستخدمون من إجراء بحث محلي عن محترفي التصميم الداخلي.

أعلنت شركة "أل جي" LG المتخصصة في قطاع التقنية الرقمية والهواتف المحمولة والأجهزة المنزلية ارتفاع مبيعاتها من سلسلة الهواتف الذكية "أوبتيمس أل" (Optimus L)، مسجلة مبيعات بلغت عشرة ملايين هاتف حول العالم في عام 2012. وتعتبر سلسلة هواتف "أوبتيمس أل" -بحسب أل جي- من الهواتف الذكية المتطورة والتي تتضمن هواتف "أوبتيمس أل 3" المصممة بشاشة يبلغ حجمها 3.2 بوصات، وهواتف "أوبتيمس أل 5" المصممة بشاشة يبلغ حجمها 4.0 بوصات، إلى جانب هواتف "أوبتيمس أل 7" المصممة بشاشة يبلغ حجمها 4.3 بوصات، والتي تم طرحها مؤخرًا خلال المؤتمر العالمي للهواتف المحمولة "MWC 2012"، والذي شهد أيضًا كشف النقاب عن أحدث طرازات سلسلة "أوبيتمس أل 9" المصممة بشاشة يبلغ حجمها 4.7 بوصات. ووفقًا لشركة أل جي فإن سلسلة هواتف "أوبتيمس أل" -التي تضم هواتف: L3، وL5، وL7، بالإضافة إلى L9- متوفرة للمستخدمين في أكثر من 50 دولة.

أعلنت شركة HTC اليوم عن طرح هاتفها الذكي الجديد HTC Windows Phone 8S في أسواق دولة الإمارات بسعر 1399 درهماً إماراتياً. ويعد جهاز “8S” أخف هاتف يعمل بنظام التشغيل “ويندوز فون”، إذ يبلغ وزنه مع البطارية 113 غرام فقط، وقد تم تجهيزه بالإصدار الثامن من نظام التشغيل الجديد “ويندوز فون”. كما يتمتع أيضاً بتصميم مبتكر، وصوت نقي تقول الشركة المصنعة أنه يضاهي في جودته استوديوهات التسجيل المتخصصة بفضل تقنية Beats Audio، هذا إضافة إلى قدرات التصوير الاستثنائية التي يتمتع بها. ويتمتع الجهاز أيضاً بمظهر خارجي أنيق وسطح أملس وألون غير لماعة وصفتها لاشركة بأنها جرئية ومنمقة وفريدة، ويتوفر بالألوان التالية: الأزرق uniform blue ، والأسود، والأبيض، والرمادي، والأخضر. يتميّز الجهاز أيضاً بكاميرا ذات عدسة بدقة 5 ميغابيكسل وقياس فتحتها 2.8 وزاوية واسعة جداً 35 ملم تسمح بتصوير أربعة أشخاص أو أكثر في آن واحد. كما أنها تدعم تسجيل الفيديو بدقة ’720 بي‘ (720p) بصوت ستيريو. وتم تزويد الهاتف الجديد بشاشة كريستال سائل بقياس 4 بوصة، محمية من الخدش بطبقة زجاج رقيقة وخفيفة ما يسمح للمستخدم بالحصول على دقة وضوح عالية وألوان مشبعة تدعم تقنية ’ويندوز فون لايف تايل‘.

أطلقت شركة الاتصالات السعودية “STC” خدمة “لمسة” الرقمية للأطفال. وهي خدمة ثقافية تعليمية ترفيهية، تخاطب الأطفال الناطقين باللغة العربية. ووفقًا للشركة، تُعد هذه الخدمة هي الأولى من نوعها، وموجهة بشكل عام للأطفال في المراحل العمرية المبكرة، خصوصًا بين (سنة إلى ثلاث سنوات)، وبين (أربع سنوات إلى ست سنوات)، وكذلك (التعليم التحضيري وما قبل المدرسة). وقالت الاتصالات السعودية أن إطلاق تطبيق “لمسة” يأتي ضمن الجهود الحثيثة والمتواصلة التي تقوم بها الشركة لتقديم منتج متميز للأطفال يتماشى مع قيم وثقافة المجتمع السعودي، ويُبرز في الوقت ذاته ثراء اللغة العربية، إضافة إلى أنه صُمِّمَ ليثري مُخيلة وتفكير الطفل العربي، وجعل العملية التعليمية أكثر متعة، ومساعدة الأهل على اختيار محتوى ترفيهي – تعليمي لأطفالهم. ويعتبر التطبيق عالمًا ترفيهيًا متكاملًا يحوي على مجموعة من القصص الحديثة والتراثية المتميزة بكم كبير من العناصر التفاعلية والصور المتحركة الموجهة تربويًا، وتشكيلة متجددة من ألعاب الرسم والتلوين والأهازيج, كما يضم التطبيق تشكيلة متنوعة من المحتوى المُحدَّث بشكل دوري ومستمر عن طريق التعاون مع خبراء محليين وعالميين في مجال أدب الأطفال والتعليم المبكر. ويتيح تطبيق “لمسة”، بحسب الاتصالات السعودية، الفرصة لمطوري المحتوى من رسامين ومصممين وكُتَّاب ومبرمجين وغيرهم لنشر إبداعاتهم عبر التطبيق، إضافة إلى الأطفال أنفسهم الذين يستطيعون المساهمة في إثراء محتوى “لمسة” بشكلٍ فردي أو جماعي عبر المؤسسات التعليمية التحضيرية، مثل، دور الحضانة أو صفوف التمهيدي. ويمكن تحميل التطبيق مجانًا لمستخدمي أنظمة التشغيل (iOS، وأندرويد، ومتصفحات الإنترنت), وللاشتراك وتحميل التطبيق إرسال الرمز 1 إلى الرقم 808877.

أفاد “تقرير سيسكو لتكنولوجيا العالم المتصل شبكياً” (Connected World Technology Report ) لعام 2012 في الشرق الأوسط، بأن الهواتف الذكية تنافس حالياً الكمبيواترات المحمولة لتكون الأجهزة المفردة الأكثر تفضيلاً لدى المستخدمين ذوي الأعمار 18-30 عاماً، إذ تعتبر أكثر الأجهزة اندماجاً وتعددية في الوظائف، ومن أبرز نتائج التقرير: - فضّل أكثر من نصف المشاركين في الاستطلاع الهاتف الذكي، بينما فضّل أكثر من الثلث بقليل الكمبيوترات المحمولة، وذلك إذا تعين عليهم اختيار جهاز واحد. - تفوقت الهواتف الذكية على الكمبيوترات المكتبية بكونها الأجهزة المفضلة لمكان العمل من وجهة نظر عالمية. - ومن بين المشاركين في الاستطلاع، يبدو أن النساء أكثر اندفاعاً للاتصال الشبكي، فنسبة 85 بالمئة من النساء مقابل 63 بالمئة من الرجال يجدون أنفسهم لا إرادياً يتفقدون هواتفهم الذكية بحثاً عن الرسائل النصية أو رسائل البريد الإلكتروني أو تحديثات وسائل الإعلام الاجتماعي. - أكثر من 40 بالمئة من المشاركين في الاستطلاع يمكن أن يشعروا بالميل إلى الوحدة والقلق كما لو أنهم يفتقدون جزءاً منهم إذا لم يتفقدوا هواتفهم الذكية بشكل منتظم. - ومن بين أولئك المستخدمين المدمنين على الهواتف الذكية، يتمنى 60 بالمئة منهم لو أنهم لا يشعرون بذلك الحد من الإدمان على الهواتف الذكية. المحترفون المتخصصون في تقنية المعلومات حول العالم يتمتعون بمستوى اتصال أعلى - أفاد حوالي ثلث المحترفين المتخصصين في تقنية المعلومات بأنهم يتفقدون هواتفهم الذكية بشكل مستمر. - أفاد 40 بالمئة من المحترفين المتخصصين في تقنية المعلومات بأنهم يتفقدون هواتفهم الذكية كل 10 دقائق. بالنسبة للجيل المتطلب للبقاء على اتصال، يمكن لجهاز نقال واحد تحقيق ذلك، سواء كان عبر جهاز شخصي أو جهاز مملوك للشركة التي يعمل بها المستخدم، الأمر الذي يُحدث تحديات أمام مدراء تقنية المعلومات الذين يقع على عاتقهم حماية ممتلكات وأصول ومعلومات الشركة. - أفاد 9 من أصل 10 من المشاركين في الاستطلاع بأنهم يقومون بالتسوق الإلكتروني. - أعرب 57 بالمئة من المشاركين في الاستطلاع عن رغبتهم بتبادل عناوين بريدهم الإلكتروني مع المتاجر والمواقع الإلكترونية للحصول على إشعارات حول الخصومات والتنزيلات. ولكنهم يشعرون بالقلق حيال تبادل بيانات أكثر من ذلك، فالقليل منهم يرغبون بتبادل أرقام الهواتف أو عناوين المنازل أو غير ذلك من البيانات الشخصية. تغذية البيانات حول العالم - يقوم حوالي 90 بالمئة من المشاركين في الاستطلاع بتحميل الصور لتبادلها أو تخزينها على المواقع الإلكترونية. - يقوم 62 بالمئة من المشاركين في الاستطلاع بتحميل مقاطع الفيديو لتبادلها أو لتخزينها على المواقع الإلكترونية. - يملك 87 بالمئة من المشاركين في الاستطلاع حساباً على موقع “فيسبوك”، وواحد من أصل 10 منهم دائم النشاط على هذا الموقع. - يقوم 41 بالمئة من المشاركين في الاستطلاع بتحديث منشوراتهم على “فيسبوك” مرة على الأقل يومياً، ويقوم أكثر من واحد من أصل خمسة منهم بتحديث منشوراتهم على “فيسبوك” عدة مرات يومياً. - 56 بالمئة من المشاركين في الاستطلاع لديهم حساب على موقع “تويتر”، و21 بالمئة منهم يتواصلون عبر هذا الموقع مرة واحدة على الأقل. وقال ربيع دبوسي، المدير العام لشركة سيسكو في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة: “ما زال العالم في بداية حصوله على ثمار عصر الإنترنت دائم التغير. وفيما يتزايد عدد الناس والأجهزة وأجهزة الاستشعار والمحاصيل والحيوانات والكائنات الحية التي تتصل بالإنترنت، سيتزايد الحجم والقيمة المحتملة لكافة البيانات المتولدة من تلك الاتصالات بشكل هائل. وتعتقد سيسكو بأنه في المستقبل القريب جداً، سيتمكن الناس والشركات في الشرق الأوسط من الحصول على فوائد أكبر بكثير من نموذج الاتصالات ‘جهاز إلى جهاز’ مما يجعل الشبكات أكثر قيمة من أي وقت مضى”.
