امتحان يوليو 2012 داخل مصر

Translate the following passages into Arabic :

1- Nuclear technology is now so widespread that it is only political will which stops many countries from making nuclear weapons. Mohammed el-Baradei, former head of the international atomic agency (IAEA), said that 40 countries could make the bomb if they wanted to. the reason for this is that technology is legally used to enrich uranium to make fuel for nuclear weapons. a country could do this in secret or withdraw from the nuclear non-proliferation treaty (HPT) , and do it any way .  this is the Achilles heel of the HPT – an agreement designed to stop the spread of nuclear weapons while allowing countries access to nuclear power .

2- Ahmed zewail

in 1999, professor Ahmed zewail  was awarded the noble prize for chemistry . the noble prize is the highest award that any one can be given . in one of the interviews Zewail said that one should have a certain aim to which all his life may be devoted . he had a certain objective before his eyes from the very beginning of his life . to be a professor at university was his only dream . he was a quiet child , away from quarrelling with other children , he liked sitting with those who were older than him . his most important bliss was listening . this good quality taught him to concentrate whenever he listens to a scientific speech.

Translate the following into English :

1- القدرة علي الإبداع عامل مهم من عوامل تنمية ذهن الطفل الصغير وعندما يجلس الطفل ساعتين لمشاهدة التليفزيون فانه يستمتع بالمشاهدة لكنه في الوقت نفسه لا يفكر مادام التليفزيون يسقيه المعلومات بالملعقة .

2- الثقة بالنفس عنصر من العناصر الأساسية في تكوين الشخصية الناجحة أنها تجعل الإنسان مؤمنا بقدرته الخلاقة مستثمرا مواهبه وبدونها لا يستطيع  أن يتغلب علي الصعاب التي تعترض سبيله في الحياة .

التسليح النووي : هل من الممكن إيقافه ؟

أصبحت التكنولوجيا النووية واسعة الانتشار لدرجة أن أصبحت الإرادة السياسية فقط هي التي تمنع العديد من الدول من صنع الأسلحة النووية . وأعلن محمد البرادعي المدير السابق للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية انه في استطاعة 40 دولة أن تقوم بتصنيع القنبلة النووية إذا أرادت ويرجع السبب في هذا إلي أن التكنولوجيا تستخدم بشكل قانوني لتخصيب اليورانيوم للحصول علي الوقود  اللازم للأسلحة النووية ، وفي استطاعة أية دولة القيام بذلك سواء سرا أو بأن تنسحب من معاهدة منع الانتشار النووي وتقوم بتصنيع القنبلة النووية تلك المعاهدة التي تهدف إلي منع انتشار الأسلحة النووية بينما نجدها تسمح بذلك للدول بامتلاك التكنولوجيا النووية ( الطاقة النووية )

احمد زويل

في عام 1999 تم منح جائزة نوبل في علم الكيمياء للدكتور احمد زويل وتعتبر جائزة نوبل هي أعلى جائزة قد يحصل عليها إنسان وفي احدي المقابلات صرح زويل أن الإنسان يجب أن يكون لديه هدف يكرس حياته كلها لتحقيقه وقد وضع هدفا محددا أمام عينيه منذ بدايته حيث كان حلمه الوحيد هو ان يكون أستاذا جامعيا وقد كان طفلا هادئا لا يتعارك مع الأطفال الآخرين وكان يفضل الجلوس مع من هم اكبر منه سنا وقد كانت أفضل فضائله هي الإنصات وقد علمته تلك الميزة التركيز أينما كان ينصت إلى احد الخطابات العلمية التي يلقيها غيره .

1- the ability of creation is one of the important factors in developing the young child’s mind . when a child spends two hours in watching television , he enjoys it , but at the same time doesn’t think as long as television spoon-feds him the information’s

2- self - confidence is one of the main elements in forming the successful character , as it makes people believe in their creative abilities invest their talents , and without it , they cant overcome the difficulties that face them in their lives .
