السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

وأنا بذاكر مادة الساينتكس لقيت أن فيها مصطلحات حاولت أترجمها عشان أقدر
أعرف معناها بس كان صعب ترجمتها حرفي لأنه مكنش المعني المطلوب ليها في
المادة دي

بس الحمدلله قدرت أعرف بتيجي أمتي وليه بتيجي وحبيت أني أشارك بيها عل وعسي حد يقدر يستفيد بيها زيي

1- transitive verb:

take one object

EX:I played tennis

played=transitive verb

2- di-transitive verb:



takes two objects one is direct and the other is indirect

EX:The wealthy organization built houses for the poor

built=di-transitive verb

houses=direct object

for the poor=indirect object

houses is a direct object because the sentence can rearrange like this:

The wealthy organization built for the poor houses



3-intensive \ copula verb:





we recognize it if we saw in the sentence a subject predicative


and how we know the subject predicative

the subject predicative describing the subject

EX:His father is an English teacher


Is= intensive \ copula verb


an English teacher= subject predicative

his father= an English teacher



4-complex transitive:



we know if the verb in the sentence complex transitive if we found in the sentence an object and an object predicative

what's meant by object predicative it's describing the object


Ex:she put the money in the box


put=complex transitive

money=object

in the box=object predicative,
because it describes where she put the money


5-intransitive verb:


it's a verb that doesn't take any objects


Ex: It rained


rained=intransitive object



6-predicative adjective:



it can not be deleted it's apart of the verb pharses

and it occurs in verb pharses

Ex: the e-mail was terribly long

terribly long=predicative adjective phrase


7-Attributive Adjective:



it can be deleted

and it occurs in noun pharses

EX: the long e-mail terrified him

long= attributive adjective

and if we deleted it the meaning of the sentence still understood

transitive verb هونفس ما يوازي في العربية : الفعل المتعدي ( سواء كان لمفعول واحد أو لمفعولين ...)

intransitive verb هو الفعل اللازم ( أي الذي لا يحتاج إلى مفعول به )

الفعل المتعدي في الأنجليزية هو
di-transitive verb
يأخذ مفعولين

والفعل اللازم في الأنجليزية هو
transitive verb
لا يأخد غير مفعول به واحد
